October 9 - 15

   Monday the kids did not have school and Grandma Priest had her surgery. Everything went well and she tolerated the anesthesia much better this time. Elly stayed and played most the day. We took her home and then went to the hospital to see Grandma Priest before going to supper with Sherri, Larry, Wanda, and Auntie J. Tuesday after taking the kids to school I went to the hospital to see Grandma Priest. She was doing good and they were going to transfer her to the rehab unit at Linden Court. After picking up Alec we went back to town and had lunch with Traci. We came home after school and enjoyed the nice day by playing volleyball outside.
   Wednesday after taking the kids to school I watched Ashlynn. She was doing well but really liked having new people over since she was in her cast. We came home that afternoon until it was time for mass with the CCD kids. Babs came out that evening and Mike and I went to dinner with Stacy and Colten. Thursday I took the kids to school and then did some shopping. I picked up Alec from school and we ate at McDonald's before taking him to get his first professional haircut. He told the lady she was much better at it than his dad and he really liked it when she was done. The only part he did not like was when she spiked it up to cut it. After his haircut we went to visit Grandma Priest then picked up the girls from school. That night we hosted a PA dinner for the 2 surgical PA's at Pals. The kids had a great time playing in the back yard at Pals and we all enjoyed getting to know the new surgeons, PAs and families.

   Friday we took the girls to school then went to Michelle's to play with Ashlynn. We stopped in to visit Grandma Priest and then had lunch with Mike. We came home packed the truck and after school we headed to the ranch for family pictures on Saturday. We celebrated Becca's birthday with Nick and Melissa and stayed at Aaron and Liza's house. Saturday it was a very windy and cold day, but we got pictures done and everyone had a good time playing in the house. Sunday we stopped in Thedford and watched Ashlyn play volleyball before heading home. We stopped to visit Grandma Priest and then we came home and I mowed before movie night.
